As the church has to be temporarily closed to the public following a request by the City Mayor, the Director of Public Health and an encouragement by our Bishop to do so, you will not be able to see what has happened in the last few days.
Following the removal of the somewhat darkened carpet the wooden floor has been sanded and sealed and is currently drying. It looks really good and will make a welcoming impression on anybody entering the building. Thanks to a generous donation this could happen really quickly and I am delighted with the outcome! Obviously Dolly the Collie was extraordinarily helpful – as always!
