Our serving team is a mixed group of male and female adults and minors, and most roles can be fulfilled by minors as well as adults. Servers are involved every Sunday and on other significant days and the commitment is flexible – usually once or twice a month, on a Sunday between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
The setup for the Mass and welcoming usually starts with a coffee at 9.30am (coffee counts as medicine and does not break the Eucharistic Fast!). This brings together all involved in the preparation – welcoming, serving, hospitality, clergy etc and is itself a really lovely gathering.
