During the 2nd National Lockdown I live-streamed 2 services per week on the Parish Facebook page. The quality was questionable, the sound was abysmal and it happened with minimal resources: my phone, a stand and no Wifi anywhere. Luckily no cats participated.
As we start worshipping publicly again today I am inclined to stop broadcasting the services as the sound quality will suffer even further with others in the building and elements of the service happening in different parts of the building. I hesitate to invest human and material resources into something I consider solely an emergency provision whilst public services are impossible. Others do a much better job at this and there are countless well produced online services out there. However, I am open to suggestions if you disagree! 🙂
